Welcome!

The Massachusetts Osteopathic Society (MOS) is a non-profit organization representing osteopathic physicians (DOs) in the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts.

Membership in MOS Doesn't Cost - It PAYS!

The Massachusetts Osteopathic Society is the only professional organization for D.O.'s in the Common-wealth of Massachusetts.  With rapid changes in the medical profession, it is now more important than ever to unite with other osteopathic physicians.

Each member is crucial to the success of the society; our legislative voice becomes stronger, educational offerings become better, and the network of your peers becomes wider!

AOA Distinguished Service Award

Once a year, the AOA honors deserving members of the osteopathic medical profession with Distinguished Service Awards in recognition of outstanding accomplishments in scientific or professional affairs. This is the AOA's highest accolade and is presented to those who contribute to the total profession, not just to a regional or local effort. The award is presented during the Opening Session of the AOA's annual Osteopathic Medical Conference & Exposition (OMED).

The Distinguished Service Award is given to DOs who have enhanced the field of osteopathic medicine through outstanding achievements or exceptional contributions in research, education or other areas that enable the profession to make a greater contribution to the public health. In addition, lay individuals who have attained outstanding accomplishments in scientific, philanthropic or other fields of public service are eligible to receive this award.
